WORLD PETROLEUM CONGRESS | DECEMBER 5-9, 2021
Returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years!
The city of Houston will host the World Petroleum Congress at the George R. Brown Convention Center December 5-9, 2021. Considered the “Olympics” of the energy industry, it is a global symposium assembling more than 100 nations, and convenes every three years for thought-provoking exchanges and an interactive exhibition.
The Congress participants examine all aspects of the industry, from technological advances in upstream and downstream to the role of natural gas and renewables and the management of the industry and its social, economic and environmental impact.
OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE WPC
Energy Industry Support International was selected to provide volunteers for this major industry event. Our organization was chosen because our members and supporters possess industry knowledge and have the expertise and experience in the areas of diversity, working with high level industry and government officials and the ability to always execute with excellence and professionalism.
At Energy International Support International, we believe that giving back and volunteering significantly aids in career and personal development. We encourage companies and organizations to partner with energy support professionals to help them gain valuable exposure, give back, network and build beneficial relationships by volunteering their expertise at events and initiatives.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDUSTRY ADMIN & SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS
Our organization is seeking volunteers for this outstanding career opportunity for the dates of December 3 – December 9, 2021. Volunteering at the WPC puts you right in the middle of one of the most important events in the energy industry, gives you exposure to global industry and world leaders, and gives you access to learn about the future of the industry from the experts.
You will be able to show your company and management that you value learning about your industry and that you contributed to the event’s success by providing your valuable expertise.
To be considered, you must read the requirements and complete the registration form below. We request to receive registration forms as soon as possible as pre-interviews are required before the event.
Please also see the “Permission to Volunteer at the World Petroleum Congress with Energy Industry Support International” letter. You may present the letter to your manager to receive permission to attend.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
• Previous registration desk experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Industry knowledge, energetic and punctual
• Reliable, flexible and adaptable

• Professional image and attire
Prior experience with registration desk set-up and management, greeting event attendees, running microphones, stuffing bags, creating badges, etc. is preferred.

Q. Do you have to be a member of Energy Industry Support International to volunteer?
A. No, you do not have to be a member of EiSi to register to volunteer.
Q. Do you need energy industry experience to volunteer?
A. Experience working in, or with the energy industry (oil, gas, renewable, services, etc.) is preferred.
Q. Do you have to have administrative, support or energy industry experience?
A. While administrative/support experience or energy industry experience is preferred, experience listed in the requirements above is most important.
Q. May we choose more than one date and/or time to volunteer?
A. Yes, we encourage selecting more than one date and time to volunteer.
Q. What are the WPC’s Covid Guidelines?
