Lily Portales is the Executive Assistant in the Investor and Public Relations department of EOG Resources, a leading U.S. oil and gas exploration and production company and a pioneer in the development of unconventional horizontal tight-rock resources.

Lily joined EOG in 2017 from Austin Industrial where she served as the Sr. Executive Assistant to the President and office manager from 2011-2017. Prior to Austin Industrial, Lily worked at Texas A&M University from 2004-2011 in various administrative roles supporting executive management and leadership. She held positions as Administrative Assistant, Assistant to the Controller, Executive Secretary to the Associate Vice Chancellor and Treasurer, Assistant to the President Research Foundation, and Assistant to the Vice President for Research. Lily began her career with Stolt Offshore as a Project Administrator supporting Kizomba A and Angostura projects. She has over 20 years in the administrative profession.

Lily is an active member of Executive Women’s International (EWI) and has chaired several committees since she joined in 2011. She is an advocate of the administrative profession and promotes the importance of the executive/assistant partnership. She has completed hours towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Baylor University and the University of Phoenix – Houston.
