Oil & Gas Admins International Partners with HMNS Wiess Energy Hall for OGAP Certification

O&GA International has partnered with the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Wiess Energy Hall for the Oil & Gas Administrative Professionals (OGAP) Certification!  

The OGAP Certification’s robust criterion is designed to give the administrative professional an overview of the industry from the “reservoir to the pump” and to measure and validate the professional’s understanding and knowledge of the oil & gas industry.  It adds to the professional’s technical knowledge, and provides a venue that defines the professional’s value and improved marketability within the oil and gas industry. The program is endorsed by oil industry experts and leaders from a cross-section of global oil and gas companies and organizations.

Upon completion of the certification, professionals will have an opportunity to participate in a guided tour of Wiess Energy Hall at the Houston Museum of Natural Science for a “visual” experience of the OGAP Certification content.  The tours will take place the fourth Thursday of each month.

Event attendees enjoyed flavorful smoked brisket, chicken and turkey, street tacos with their choice of chicken or beef fajita meat or carnitas.  On the patio, guests enjoyed a tasty guacamole bar made to order with a variety of delicious options, and of course, Goode Co.’s delicious FAMOUS pecan pie!  The evening was complete with Goode Co.’s cocktail options of margaritas or sangria – frozen or on the rocks (delish).

O&GA’s Vice-Executive Ambassador, Sherry Grantham, welcomed all attendees and shared information about the organization and upcoming events, and Shannon Smith, Goode Co.’s Private Event Coordinator, gave a wonderful overview of all the fantastic services and options Goode Co. has to offer. 

A large number of new faces were in attendance creating excellent opportunities for building new relationships, and guests had the opportunity to take advantage of Goode Co.’s beautiful patio area that connects both restaurants and can cater to an event of over 100 people!

Sending a BIG THANK YOU to Stampede Event Center for hosting O&GA International’s first networking event of 2018!  Event attendees braved the Houston frigid temperatures and came out to have a great time!  Stampede provided a variety of nachos with homemade toppings, deviled eggs, delicious desserts and more.  Great new connections were made and there were first time introductions to Stampede Event Center and to Oil & Gas Admins International.  

Guests had the opportunity to take a tour of Stampede Event Center, and each received tickets to attend upcoming concerts!

O&GA International Welcomes Ingrid Enriquez as Regional Ambassador – Mexico Region!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Ingrid Enriquez, O&GA’s new Ambassador for the Mexico Region!  Ingrid brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and innovative ideas to O&GA.  She is currently a Project Services Support – Project Management and Execution professional at ExxonMobil and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration – Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.  She also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English Literature and Global Business from the University of Houston.
