Karthik Rajan, Thought Leader and LinkedIn expert, helped attendees discover the tools needed to build a solid and successful career and personal brand.

La Donna Finnels-Neal, Founder and CEO of Oil & Gas Admins International and LF Enterprises gave tips to help attendees set their most important goals and gave tools for taking action.

Attendees received brand new head shots taken by Sonya Destin, owner of Taylor Made Event Planning and Photography to help build their professional profiles, especially that all important LinkedIn page.

O&GA kicked off it’s very first networking event of the year thanks to the generosity of our host Goode Co. Armadillo Palace.  Attendees were delighted and amazed to see the exciting and expanded event space with a beautiful western theme.  They enjoyed delicious appetizers and beverages and a great overview of the event space by Lana O’Neil, Goode Co.’s Sales and Marketing Manager.

Oil & Gas Admins International had the opportunity to close 2016 with a BANG thanks to the Budweiser Tasting Room.  Budweiser Tasting Room is a beautiful gem nestled in the Anheuser Busch facility on 1-10 East and was the perfect location for O&GA’s Annual Holiday Social.  A huge thank you to Don McDonald and his team for the outstanding service, the beautiful decorations and the great atmosphere.

Oil & Gas Admins International celebrated the close of a challenging year for the oil and gas industry, but one that was marked with success thanks to the outstanding support of our members, supporters and friends.  Attendees enjoyed treats from the Sweet and Salty bar, and food from the Cajun and Comfort bar.  Budweiser generously sponsored all beverages for the event, and DJ Smooth provided fun holiday and party tunes.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar provided the perfect location for O&GA’s Fall Fest!  The patio provided a great atmosphere for networking and the food and special blueberry lemon drop signature drink were delicious additions to the occasion.

The night was elevated to its highest level when Elijah J. White, ExxonMobil’s VP of Geoscience gave fantastically candid words of inspiration and encouragement to the attendees and even answered all the hard questions with honesty and a smile.  Attendees left with great nuggets and directives to help continue their career development.

We are pleased to announce Elijah J. White, our distinguished guest speaker for the O&GA Fall Fest at Fleming’s Steakhouse!  

Mr. White is a native of Wilson, North Carolina and was appointed Vice President – Geoscience at ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company in July 2015.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Elizabeth City State University in 1981 and a Master’s of Science in Geology from The University of North Carolina in 1984 before joining the company in Houston as an exploration geoscientist.  To learn more about Mr. White, please view his full biography here >>.
