A sincere thank you to Lauren Liermann and The Palm Restaurant for hosting O&GA in such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere.  Attendees had a chance to experience a variety of delicious appetizers and great selections of beverages.  Attendees were then treated to a brief history of The Palm and given an overview of the restaurant’s services.

O&GA INTERNATIONAL IS PROUD TO BE A COLLABORATING PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION OF THE SPE-GCS SPRING 2019 UPSTREAM OIL & GAS HIRING EVENT

The SPE – GCS invites you to participate in the 5th edition of the “Upstream Oil & Gas Professionals Hiring Event,” March 26th, 2019 at Trini Mendenhall Center.

Following the success of the inaugural event in March 2017, they continue to provide a platform connecting experienced job seekers with upstream oil and gas companies to fill open positions. This is also a platform to help the industry retain qualified and experienced professionals, preventing losing them during the industry’s hard times. The SPE is partnering with other organizations to make the event a mirror of the oil industry. Thus, all upstream disciplines are invited to participate in the event.

Experienced Job Seekers, Employers and Sponsors are invited to register for the event.

    Sending a BIG Thank You to Techspace for Hosting the First Admins & Innovation Event, March 5th! 

    A sincere thank you to Bobby Spoden and the Techspace team hosting O&GA and Uplyft Studios for our first collaboration to bring innovation to oil and gas admins.  It was an intimate event where startups, executive administrators, vendors and investors walked away with exposure to outstanding ideas, technologies and hot leads. 

    Attendees had a chance to hear startups pitch their innovative new products and services and were blown away with the outstanding presentations.  Attendees were then treated to a tour of Techspace and given an overview of the fantastic services for small and large companies, and entrepreneurs.

    O&GA International set sail on it’s first Onshore to Offshore Cruise last Monday, February 18, 2019 and we had a BLAST!  In addition to all the fun on the cruise and all the new friendships developed, we provided opportunities to learn a little about the oil and gas industry.  There were plenty of offshore tankers and rigs, and our scavenger hunt offered a little education into our oil and gas history.  Congratulations to Kimecia Cade for winning the scavenger hunt and THANK YOU to our brave cruisers for trusting us!

    We would like to send another BIG thank you to Jessica Thornbrough and Lyndzie Menking of La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa for the awesome sponsorships, and to Catherine Beyt of NHS Voyages, LLC for helping us plan such a fun event!  We hope you will show them lots of love the next time you are looking to plan an event.
