Mr. Gutierrez joined Marathon Oil Corporation in Houston in 1999 and serves as Director of State Government Relations. He leads the company’s political and government engagement and is responsible for Marathon’s lobbying activities in Austin, Texas, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Washington D.C.. Prior to Marathon, Hugo served as chief of staff to member of the Texas House of Representatives at the Capitol in Austin.
